The Design of the Times Awards Competition recognizes the in-store-marketing industry's best displays and retail promotions.
E S Robbins received the awards for the two displays that make up the company's exclusive "Cascade" merchandising system. The gold award went to the larger display, designed to hang flat chairmats in a vertical presentation. Muscle Shoals, Ala., (May 8, 2006) – E S Robbins, Corp., one of the leading manufacturers of PVC products in the U.S., has reorganized their flooring protection segment, extending and improving their product line. Now, to complement their lines, a new range of enhanced floor protection products and merchandising programs are available to flooring retailers. The latest additions include the Cascade Chairmat Program and AnchorPro® Carpet Protector.
An industry first, the company’s Cascade Chairmat Program offers stylish and functional chairmats with display systems designed to increase profits for commercial and residential sales. Chairmats are a natural add-on sale for commercial carpet customers who recognize the necessity of office workstation chairmats. “We know there is a demand. Flooring retailers have had their commercial customers ask for chairmats,” explains Edward Robbins III, company president, “Until now, they had to send their customers to an office supplies store, losing out on the sale.” Including the chairmat with the flooring purchase is a convenience for customers and a boost for each sales transaction.
Residential home offices present a fast-growing market for chairmats.
